Illumination of the Silesian Planetarium in Chorzów!
Illumination of the Silesian Planetarium in Chorzów!

We are pleased to announce that there has been an inauguration of the new illumination of the Silesian Planetarium in Chorzów along with the nearby statue of Nicolaus Copernicus on Saturday night 2011-09-03.
The illumination has been designed and constructed using modern HELIOS LED City light sources (high quality light emitting diodes). Facade of the Planetarium and statue of the best known Polish astronomer have been illuminated their own original ways. The ceremony coincided with the end of the LIV Astronomic Olympiad – we congratulate the participants and winners!
We are pleased that Helios’ modern light sources illuminates one of the symbols of Silesia and Poland. We invite you to evening screenings showed in the Planetarium!
